GENERAL DENTISTS
Peter Chien, DDS
Dr. Peter Chien attended Villa Park High School and graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a B.S. in Biology. He then went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California, School of Dentistry and later worked at the LAC/USC Medical Center in Los Angeles in their Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery 1-year residency program. Dr. Chien then decided to return home and take over the family business at Yorba Linda Dental.
His unique passion for technology and dentistry has allowed him to implement the most innovative methodologies and tools at Yorba Linda Dental, while also making sure all patients are treated like family.
In his spare time, Peter loves hiking around Los Angeles and Orange County. His favorite spots include Black Star Canyon in the Santa Ana Mountains, Crystal Cove near Laguna Beach, and Solstice Canyon in Malibu.
Kelly Lee, DDS
Dr. Kelly Lee graduated from the University of California, Davis with a B.S. in Biological Sciences. She then earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California, School of Dentistry. Dr. Lee is a San Francisco Bay Area native who enjoys the southern California sunshine.
Having previously worked at high-tech dental offices in Northern California, she provides a refreshingly modern outlook on how dentists can be better care providers for patients and helps ensure the best customer care policies are put into practice.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, going on Disney vacations, and spending time with her husband and dog, Russell (a very cute Shih Tzu).
Orthodontist
Dr. Nicole Starkey, DDS, MS
Dr. Nicole Starkey attended the University of San Diego where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in biology and minors in both chemistry and business administration. Upon completion of her undergraduate degree, she moved to Los Angeles to attend dental school at the University of Southern California, where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree.
Upon graduation, she was accepted to USC's Graduate Orthodontics Residency Program, one of the most prestigious programs for orthodontics in the United States. After 33 months of training, Dr. Starkey received a specialty certificate in orthodontics and a Master of Science degree in Craniofacial Biology.
Dr. Starkey is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics, Orange County Dental Society, and the California Dental Association. She has successfully completed the written portion of the American Board of Orthodontics.
When not involved with orthodontics, Dr. Starkey enjoys spending time with her husband and miniature golden retriever, hiking, and cheering on her favorite sports teams. She is excited to be part of the team at Yorba Linda Dental Center while also having a positive impact in each patient's life and smile through orthodontics.
